Condo-should we choose Costa Blanca or Costa Dorada?

We are going to spend 4 days in Barcelona and a week driving in Andalucia. We then have one more week and want to use a timeshare we own-there are two regions that appeal to us with timeshares in the locale. One is near Salou or Tarragona in Costa Dorada and the other is in and around Alicante in Costa Blanca. Does anyone have any input on the pros and cons of each of these locations?<BR>We're going in May next year. Thanks.

Spent a week in a villa on the Costa Blanca and was not overly impressed. Might have had a great deal to do with the fact that where we were Moreira many of the homes were predominately owed by ex-pat. Brits and Germans. Didn't feel as though we were in Spain. Second, the costal scenery was a not impressive maybe because I live in Northern California. But expensive homes on a coast aren't that interesting.
