Clothing Requirement At Montserrat Basilica
I'm attending my cousin's wedding at a basilica in Montserrat (Barcelona, Spain) last week of May. I intend to wear tailored shorts above knee and open toe shoes/sandals with blazer tops. Is this allowable? I know some churches esp St. Peter's at the Vatican, no shorts allowed... no open toes, no bare shoulders, etc. I hope someone who knows is reading this and can reply. Thank you.

I said "tailored" shorts... thank you for your indifferent comment. I guess you are not familiar with what a tailored short is. First, I'm not attending a formal wedding but one of those "mass" wedding. Second the reason I am asking is after the wedding we intend to walk around Montserrat. And I do not want to be carrying a bag with clothes plus I want to be comfortable. No need to mock. It was an honest question.

I've not been to Spain, but based on my experiences in Italy I wouldn't wear shorts. Light Cotton Pants would Be o.k. If you are going to be walking around after, taking a pair of shorts may not be a bad idea. Slip into a washroom somewhere and change.
