ClickAir/Vueling Luggage Experience?
I am trying to book through ClickAir or Vueling for travel between European cities. Boy, the fine prints on the carry-on allowance is long!
I read that they allow for a combined luggage weight of 20 Kg( ~44 lbs) with 5E per luggage but I wasn't sure if the "luggage" also includes carry-ons.
I plan to have 1 suitcase which I'll checkin (under 20Kg), then a backpack carry-on for a laptop and DSLR camera for under 10Kg. I think this should just be 5E for the luggage as the carry-on should be free. Right?
Thanks.

How much baggage can I take?
Each passenger can check in up to 20kg of luggage at a cost of €5 per flight and suitcase when doing so via our website.
It is important that during the purchase process you indicate the exact number of suitcases you will check in because, once at the check-in counter, unregistered suitcases will incur a cost of €10 per flight and suitcase.
Any excess weight will be charged at 8€ per kg, up to a maximum of 50 kg per passenger.
The maximum weight admissible per package is 32 kg.
You are allowed to take 1 piece of carry-on luggage weighing up to 10kg with the maximum dimensions of 55x40x20cm.
These conditions are subject to space availability.
At the boarding gate, hand luggage that does not comply with the company’s regulations – that is, exceeding stipulated amount, weight or dimensions (55x40x20) – will incur a cost of €15 per suitcase.
----------------------
So, for Vueling, as long as your laptop and camera both fit inside your carry-on, and your carry-on does not exceed the weight and dimensions listed above, then you're OK.
You have to pay the 5E in advance when you're purchasing your ticket.

We flew Clickair in April, and had one check-in bag each (under the weight limit). We put all the heavy books in our carry-ons. No charges for anything (they never weigh the cary-ons). Great experience w?Clickair, BTW. Very smooth.

Worst airline I have ever dealt with. They get you in with low ticket prices then hold you over a barrel and shake out as much money as they can once you arrive for your flight. They tell you one thing then when you show up at the airport they say you need to pay this fee and that fee or you can just not get on the flight, with no refund. They even charge to assign you a seat, then we get to our plane and they say seating is first come first serve. I asked about the extra money I paid to have assigned seats and the same response of too bad if you don't like it get off the plane. I will never do buisness with them again and hope to see them go out of buisness sone with thier horrible service and shady tactic. Grey hound of the skys is the best way to describe them.
