Civitavecchia to Rome airport?

Does anyone know of a car service we can use to pick us up at the port and transfer to the airport in Rome? Last year we had to wait an hour for a taxi on the dock at Copenhagen so I would prefer to have something booked and waiting.

You are smart to try to arrange this in advance especially if you are coming in on a ship. We left on a ship from Civitavecchia last year and there is no public transportation close to the docks.

We stayed in Rome before the cruise and used a taxi from the hotel to Civitavecchia. As I recall the cruise line had options between Civitavecchia to the airport. If you are on a ship this might be an option. I also recall the taxi/limo services that I inquired about had service between the airport and Civitavecchia. I believe I found them on the internet. Hope this is helpful.

Can you give me a link for a taxi/limo site? I am not web savvy and when I put in a search i only get car rental sites. I paid about 100 Euros last year from A hotel in Rome to the dock, but this was easy to set up with the hotel. This year it is the dock to the airport. Thanks.

I did a quick search and came up with the following possibilites. Maybe they can meet your need without costing and arm and leg. Good luck.

Limo Italy. If you work at it on their website I think they show a service between the port and airport. Worth a try. They are at:

Rome Shuttle Service is at:

Bob's Limos and Tours. It sounds like he arranges for drivers to take you wherever you want to go including pickups, tours, etc.
