Cinque Terre - Which Town?

I'm trying to narrow down which town to stay in for three nights in June. I would like a town that is not too quiet.... It would be nice to have a beach.... Any suggestions?

Ok, I just read someone else's question....
Monterosso sounds like it would be what I'm looking for..... What do you think?

What would you compare Monterosso to? We stayed in Sorrento last summer and went gaga over it...
Does it have the same 'feel'? How small is the town?

We just were in CT in October. Stayed in Manarola, which was perfect for us. Monterosso is the largest & busiest of the 5 towns (which is why we steered clear of it!) I can't compare it to Sorrento, bc haven't been there in over 10 years. But if "busiest" is your primary criteria, Monterosso is the one you want! There is also a nice beach there, too.

My favorite is Vernazza, but because it is quiet and quaint. You want Monterosso.
