Cinque Terre Restaurants

We will be staying in Monterossa at the end of June. All the restaurants in the area sound appealing, please share your recommendations on restaurants in the CT that were memorable experiences for you.
Thanks.

Do a search for "monterosso" and there is a recent thread for restaurants there. However, use that spelling to get the thread. Sorry, don't know how to paste the URL link in for you! However, if there are CT experts, please add any CT recommendations here as I need them for end of June as well! Also, how far in advance to reserve restaurants like Gambero Rossa? Thanks.

We didn't have any 'great' meals in Monterrosso, but we had a great dinner at Trattoria Capitano in Vernazza and Marina Piccola Ristorante in Manarola (With a beautiful sunset view!).

this was from honeybrown's trip report last sept.:
"Dinner that night was at Al Carugio in Monterosso, which had the best calamari I've ever had and an absolutely amazing caprese salad. 3 course meal with wine for one person, 37 Euro." we took her advice in october and i would have to agree regarding the calamari...it is simply incredible......i will never forget that first mouthful.......

I took this advice and did not regret it!
I have pasted this suggestion for the second time on this forum because I can still taste that meal...years later
