Chunnel

My husband just surprised me with a trip to London for Valentine's day.
I was thinking about going Paris or Brussels for a hectic day trip. How much do you think tickets will cost on such short notice?
According to RailEurope website it is $38 one-way fare. That seems low. Has anyone used this website?

Thanks

I can see why people may want to go to Paris for the day from London (although personally I wouldn't do this as a day trip), but you are considering Brussels as well, why?

It sounds way low. It even sounds low for Paris TO/FROM Brussels.

Maybe you plugged something wrong - - I suppose I shouldn't be so lazy, and try to reproduce what you looked up - - it seems quite odd, since typically, RailEurope OVERcharges by 20-50%.

I agree, I wouldn't do it either, but it's our nivkel to spend hecticly, if you wish.

Happy romancing... and...

Best wishes,

Rex
