Chef in Paris??

Does anyone know the name of the guy who cooks for groups of people once a week in Paris? Its suppose to be a very hard table to get? I think it was in Paris but not certain. I know there was a thread on this and I cant find it.

Well, I thought of Jim Haynes, but he isn't a "chef" and it isn't "a very hard table to get."

Perhaps the OP is referring to something else?

This reminds me of the client who wanted to go to "the big Sunday dinner at the farm in Tuscany" because "everyone knows about it" and "Rick Stevens went there."

Tuleppy: could you have confused the Jim H. thing with something more culinary?

Thank you for the info! Jim Hanynes is the person I was thinking of, however after reading more about it, it is not what I thought it was. I am trying to find some unique dining experiences. My husband and I are celebrating our 15 year Wedding Anniversary and love food and wine, we will be in Paris this Fall. Any suggestions on a unique dining experience?

I think you may be thinking of Hidden Kitchen:

-Hidden kitchen, private residence dining, address revealed upon reservation
10 courses with wine pairing 70 euro pp. Only serves on Sunday, Friday/Saturdays are private groups of 10, they will serve these days if no private bookings. www.hkmenus.com

The food an the experience gets rave reviews.
