Thanks Ira and others for Paris

I would like to express my appreciation to Ira and everyone else who assisted in planing our anniversary trip to Paris last week. We stayed at the Hotel Bonaparte and everything about it was wonderful - the breakfast, staff, beds, bath and especially the location. We enjoyed our walks to the Musee D'Orsay, Notre Dame, Ile St. Louis, Jardin du Luxembourg, the market at rue Buci and the Latin Quarter. Although we did not get to everything on our list, we took the time to just walk around and enjoy the city. Good advice.

Although I did not post many questions, I read your advice to others. All of this information certainly helped to make our first trip to Paris magical. Many thanks to all of you from a novice traveler.

Unfortunately I did not meet Napoleon -maybe a good thing since my hubby is highly allergic!

I am absolutely having post trip-planning letdown. My life seems so mundane now - no cafes, beautiful art, 16th century churches, walks along the Siene... I'll snap out of it soon. We are already taking about what we will do on our next trip!
