Cheap Hotels in Ravello and Positano

My husband and I are travelling down to Ravello and Positano and actually Capri in late April. We planned on spending two nights in Ravello and two night in Positano and maybe one night in Capri. We are looking for hotels under or around $100.00 that are still somewhat nice. Can anybody give me any suggestions. Thanks.

When my husband and I were in Positano in May, '01, we stayed at the Villa Rosa and loved it( much written on here about it; run a search), and it was less than $100. However, since then I have seen prices quoted of over $125 on here. Hard to believe they increased that much; perhaps, tho, April would be low season and better rate?
VR is a wonderful little place with spectacular views; if you can get a good price, I don't think you could go wrong with it.

Emo. Try the Hotel Ristorante Garden in Ravello. Low season rates under 90 for bed and breakfast for two.

Agree with grandmere that the Villa Rosa is a lovely place; however their website shows prices for a double at 130 euros during low season. Two hotels in Positano that are within your price range are the Hotel Bougainville and the Hotel California. I think the Bougainville is listed in Rick Steves' book, so if you meander over to his graffiti board you may find comments on what it's like.

A good website for identifying many of the hotels in Positano is http://www.positanonline.it/alberghi.htm
Generally for $100 or less, you're looking at a 2-star accommadation.
