Charles de Gaulle Airport help
My daughter and I arrive on United and my daughter's friend will be arriving on American Airlines. We need to find her before leaving for Paris. I have heard that these 2 are at different terminals. Does anyone have an idea of how we can find each other?

www.adp.fr may help - the airport info website.
Terminal 1 is a free bus ride from terminal 2; not walkable.
terminal 2 is huge, very huge - good meeting place is where the last arriving person exits customs - only one possible exit for that flight.
If going into Paris by public transport, meet in terminal 2 as there is an RER/metro station there whereas in terminal 1 you must take a shuttle bus to the RER station.

Many trans-Atlantic flights land in terminal 1, a very cramped non-user friendly place IME
Air France dominates terminal 2 but some trans-Atlantic carriers land there as well as do many intra-European flights.

DJN: How far apart are the two flight arrival times? If a short time difference - then sure, select a meeting point (we can give you some options). But if an hour or more apart - I'd just plan on heading straight to the hotel. Who ever lands first can get there and get checked in (or at least leave the bags) and either wait for the other(s) to arrive or take a walk around the neighborhood.
Getting in to Paris is easy - hanging around CDG, not so much.
