Changing trains in France at TGV Massy to Massy Palaiseau Ratp

Our TGV arrives at station Massy at 7:20 AM, and we have 8 minutes to get to Massy Palaiseau Ratp the adjoining train station, to board the RER to the airport. I have looked at the google map but find it confusing. Is anyone familiar with this transfer and can give me some advice on how to go directly to the RER without making any timely mistakes. In particular, I would like to know asap which track the RER to the airport is leaving from. Are their websites which have a layout of these two train stations? Does anyone have any information that can help us make this crucial transition easy.

But the bigger question is: are you catching a flight that requires you to make that connection? If so, IMHO, that's madness. One can never expect public transport to run absolutely perfectly.

That is the only train that will get us to the airport on time for our flight. I am looking for step by step directions on how to get off one train and into another station and onto another train.

The site I gave you explains connections in detail.

It's pure folly to make an airport connection dependent on an 8-minute transfer from the TGV to the RER, even if everything is exactly on time.

Can you read French. This French forum has someone asking the exact same question with several good responses, including one from someone living right next to the gare

They say it is doable in 12 minutes if you don't waste time.

We actually made this connection previously and we stumbled around doing it. That is why I thought if I actually knew what I was doing it would be quicker. The train schedule indicates a 5 minute walk between the adjoining platforms. If anyone has actual experience in doing this, I would appreciate hearing from you.
