Changing flights from EDI

After the Braemar Gathering, we had planned to fly from EDI to LHR Saturday night. But to reduce stress, I'm thinking of changing our flights to leave Sunday morning from EDI to LCY. I've never flown into LCY. Are there any things I should consider? Like how difficult is transportation from LCY to our hotel in London (Fraser Suites, Queensgate.) Any other pitfalls?

LCY is great. A small airport -- I wish it fit in my itineraries more often. Transport from LCY will take just under an hour. The DLR to Canning town. Then the Jubilee line ro Westminster -- both will be step free, From Westminster either the District Line to Gloucester Rd (definitely not step free) or just catch a cab at Westminster which would drop you right at the hotel and would probably be my choice
