Just an FYI for those traveling to London from mid Sept. '23. onwards. The V&A is staging a massive Coco Chanel Exhibition - Gabrielle Chanel: Fashion Manifesto. It opens Sept 16 and they are releasing tickets in stages with tickers for the first few weeks on sale now and the next batch released in June. If you are interested you will need to book early.

This will likely be even bigger than the Dior and McQueen shows and will probably set attendance records. It will include more than 200 looks from 1916 all the way through to 1971

I’m going to London in April but intend to go back this fall for this. I saw the Dior and the McQueen shows and really looking forward to this one.

We will be in London the first week of October. I’ve signed up for updates on release of tickets. Finger crossed. My husband I went to an Yves St Laurant exhibit in Seattle a few years ago and he surprisingly loved it. The fashions reflected history in a different way than we typically see it.
