Central Park Hotel???

Go-Today has a very good package with accommodations at the Central Park Hotel. I'm not familiar with this hotel, can anyone provide some information? Please help! Thanks.

If you are referring to the Park Central Hotel in NYC, it is a terrific hotel in a wonderful location across street from Carnegie Hall. Clean, safe, efficient, and friendly. Great bargain, too.

It is in a quite residential street about a 4 min walk from Queensway Underground station and Hyde Park. It is a reasonable location (shops and restaurants near) but its position is not quite as good as the name suggests.

A modern ugly building from the outside which does not site well with the traditional architecture of the street.

It has a large lobby for the size of hotel in central London.

Bedrooms are small, as many are in London, and simply furnished. Service at the hotel is average at best.

If it is a great deal you might want to go with this hotel, otherwise you can get better value in the same area as well as other parts of London. It is just about a 3 star in my opinion. Of course a lot depends on your expectations.

See www.centralparklondon.co.uk

The bedroom pictures are a good representation of the size and quality, the other pictures, typically, make it look grander than it actually is.

I hope this helps.
