Greek Islands in November on Constelation, weather great, should have been memorable for good things.
After sailing on Infiniti last year and really enjoying it we booked this cruise, would have thought it was a different company.
Food: Entrees beautifully presented also desserts and really good but the mains meals were such a letdown. Veal cordon bleu so deep fried as to be an overcooked shnitzel with out being able to distinguish ham or pate if there were any? Served with a vegetable croquette also deep fried to death, great combo!! Chicken sambuca was a slice from probably a reformed chicken roll with a undistinguished sauce over it, awful. Totally ruined lobster due to over cookiing. But the Aberdeen sirloin steak served only once was brilliant.
The waiters are always telling you that if you are unhappy with the meal they will change it for you, which all cruises do but to be told this at every meal is a first. Waiters also ask you to put in the questionaire that the food is great because they get marked down if you complain on the form. Cabin staff good, waiters good. Some other staff really need re-training, maybe a bit jaded. Not a patch on Infiniti.
