CDG transfer 2C to 2F, one hour enough?

Hi all, it's my first time to Europe alone this June. Since I'm so inexpereienced that I never think that making a transfer in CDG will cause any problem until I read a post in this web. Some people says they did miss their connection in CDG, so I'm really worry about it. My situation is that I will take an Air France flight from Hong Kong to Paris land on Terminal 2C at 6:30a.m. and make a tight connection to Nice at Terminal 2F at 7:30a.m. for the same airline. I've asked the airline, they say I no need to pass the immigration and security, so do you think 1hr is enough for me? also can anyone help with:
1. To provide a more detailed route for terminal 2C to 2F (walking or taking shuttle), so to minimize my time of finding ways.( I'm really poor in finding roads )
2. If I really miss the 2nd plane. What should I do? any contingency plan can be provided for me since I can't speak any French and inexperienced in such situation. Thanks in advanced.

Hi I,

>I've asked the airline, they say I no need to pass the immigration and security,

That's what they told me, too.

You will arrive at CDG, not necessarily at 2C. You might have to take a bus to the terminal.

You will go through passport control.

You will exit 2C and walk quickly to 2F, where you will go through Security.

You will run to your gate.

Your plane to Nice will either have left, or be delayed.

Since you are ticketed on AF, you will be put on the next available plane, if you miss your flight.

Do not get upset, do not get angry, do not panic. This is the way they do things at CDG.

Map of terminal is at www.aeroportsdeparis.fr

Click "plans..." under "arrivez".

Enjoy your visit.

I would like to ask so really will the airline help to put me in the other flight to Nice? Do I need to pay again for that flight as I've asked the airline they say they won't take responsibility for the miss of 2nd flight if the 1st flight land on paris on time.

Irene,
No matter what Air France has told you, if you miss your connecting flight to Nice, then Air France will put you on their next flight to Nice and won't make you pay extra for it. To get from terminal 2C and 2F, it will be much quicker to walk than take a shuttle (print out the map as suggested by Ira). Ira is right, it's not worth panicking or getting angry when you fly through CDG ... just take a deep breath and realize you will eventually get to your destination.

When I was coming back from Paris on Air France last November..going to San Francisco...they held our plane for about 20 minutes so others could make connections. The woman sitting next to me had come in from Nice and was making connection on the SFO flight. So, perhaps this might happen in your case.

Thanks for all your replys. Yesterday I'm thinking of changing a flight right now and of course need to pay the changing fee. But after reading all your reply, I won't do so since I no need to pay even I miss my connection flight. So, I will try my luck for the original shedule. Thanks again .
