Casa Howard- Rome

Just curious if anyone has stayed in the newer section of Casa Howard in Rome. I'm booked for the Zebra room in september. I had read mostly good things, but I recall one post that was quite negative. Should I stick with my reservation?

We also may be staying there in Oct in the Indian room, has anyone stayed in that room? I was wondering if it had a full bathroom and how they liked the new locale.

I would totally recommend that you cancel your reservation as you'll be very dissapointed if you don't. The rooms are very small and noisy with absolutely none of the usually expected hotel comforts. We looked at the Zebra room and it was facing the noisy main road and was smaller (if that's possible!) than the flower room we were staying in next door to it! Jennifer the owner is also very rude and unhelpful and seems to think the fact that the TV, Turkish Bath and toilet aren't working properly are just petty issues not worth her attention.

Wow! I am really shocked by the last post. Casa Howard got quite a review in one of the travel magazines I read recently (sorry, can't remember which one!), and has also been widely recommended previously on this forum. Anybody else have comments?

Please tell. We are booked there in October because of wonderful comments on this board. We are staying in the pink room in the old hotel. Any comments?
