Carry on luggage dimensions for SATA airlines

Hi All -
I'll be flying with SATA/Azores airlines from JFK to Ponta Delgado. I want to do carry on only and am concerned about my suitcase size. It is 22 inches tall including the wheels. Is this too large? How strict are they regarding size? I am willing to buy a new suitcase but only want to do so if necessary. Also any recommendations for 2 wheeled carryons is appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

It may depend on your fare but their carry on baggage limits are listed on their website:

Thanks for your suggestion. I checked the dimensions posted on their website and my current suitcase is 1/2 inch taller and 1/2 deeper than what they have posted for my fare class. I wanted to see if anyone had experience travelling with the airline and how strict they are with the sizes of the carryons. I don't want to be stuck paying additional to check my bag or buying a new suitcase if I don't need to.
