Car service from CDG-Paris

Hi All...we are a party of 5 and will need transportation into the city. With so many & luggage, we have decided we would like a car to pick us up. Well it will have to be a minivan. Who do you recommend? Thank you!

There are plenty of minivan cabs. You don't need anything special. Just stand in line in the Taxi queue and they'll pair you up with a van big enough to take you and your luggage.

We used beeshuttle.com . Click on the private transfer service. We have used both a taxi and a car service, both are easy.

Here we go again.

If you feel like throwing money away, take a shuttle and not Taxi Parisien.

He means that someone asks just about every single day how to get from CDG into Paris and what shuttle / taxi / bus / train / pony will get there the best / fastest/ cheapest /most scenic way.

I know because I asked this last month myself and got some funny responses.

Shuttles charge by the person--about 17€--that's 85€ for 5.

Taxis charge the metered fare, whcich may be around 45-55€, plus 1€ per bag, plus 2,60€ for the fourth passenger and for the fifth.

A shuttle for 4 or 5 therefore makes no sense, nor is a shuttle more convenient to begin with.

Every single time someone asks about a group of 4 or 5, someone recommends a shuttle.

We're a family of 5 leaving in just over a week for Paris. I've read all the recent posts, gone back and forth several times, and we've decided to use "un espace" (es-PAHS: a minivan taxi). There are easy to follow terminal maps (at least they appear to be) at easycdg.com (Click on Airport Guide, then your Terminal) which show where the taxi queues are.
