Car service from Barajas International?

Our family = mom, dad, two small children - boy (4) and girl (19 mos.).

Suggestions for car service from Barajas to central Madrid?

Thanks.

Sorry, I have no info you are asking for.
we used taxis several times...25-30 euros including airport surcharge to center.

Could be a bit more from T4 and if traffic is bad.

I specifically asked for car service suggestions due to the kids. Every airport has taxis aplenty.

Company is called AeroCity. Go to limousine desk in Barajas; they'll page the driver and give you a voucher. Last year it was 39 euro for 7 seater minivan to any address in central Madrid. http://www.aerocity.com/en

There are a few private transfer services available in addition to Aero City:

My first response was for Riberasacra.

Danon: Thanks for the cost information, that's a good reference point. I think we're coming into T4.

It is probably worth spending more and hire a private car when traveling with small kids .
You may also feel more comfortable with a driver who speaks some English( if you don't speak Spanish).
Spain is great. enjoy your trip.

Well hopefully you sort out a legal ride as with many airport you get cowboys which are unlicensed.

Also these companies (links given above) use small buses pick up loads of persons and take you all around the city that is what most of the links provided give.......but hey I doubt if you want to read that.
Have a great trip.

A simple question for ribeirasacra... How often do you travel to Madrid? "Cowboys"? Really?

Normally, if we want to use a private transfer service for our clients, we let the hotel handle it. It's much simpler in the long run.

What's wrong with this? 56 euro (for 3 people) between 7am and 7pm.

Robert; I will not stoop so low as to get into any ludicrous argument with you,

This posting is about the hiring private cars services and the illegally of them in Madrid here as just a few links to demonstrate that this is a problem.

Please be aware that cowboy taxis are not only found in Madrid.
