car rental meteora

After some advise from a lady who took tours around the monastery,s
with elderly folk she said the monastery,s are a few kilometers apart
I asked if any knowledge of rentals but she could not help but believe
a day with car enough.
Has anyone rented at Meteora or possibly Kalambaka and could assist
me in this question
Thanks

Having been to both places, I doubt if they are large enough locations to support any rental car operation.

Have you checked the Inyernet, like Kayak?

What monasteries? Where? Never heard of either of those - are they car rental agencies? Normally, a one-day car rental costs the same as a 3-day one, so is usually not a cost-effective idea.

Sorry for the typo. Obviously should be Internet. Meteora was one of the most memorable places we visited in Greece. We drove our own car from Belgum.

We rented a car from Athens. You do need a car if on your own, but there must be some tours once you arrive there.

Meteora is wonderful and very much worth a visit!

We took public transportation to Kalambaka and spent the night. Hired a taxi to take us to all of the monasteries... It was very reasonable from a cost perspective (sorry, don't remember what the cost was).

If you want to drive, you could rent in Athens and include Delphi in your trip. I don't know of car rentals in Meteora or Kalambaka, but do try checking Autoeurope.com or Kemwel.com.

Have a great trip! I loved Meteora!!!

There are no car rentals in Kalambaka, nor in Trikala.
The nearest one is in Larissa.
You can easily reach Larissa by train and pick up a car there.
