Car Hire Bordeaux

Can anybody recomend a good car hire company where I can hire a seven seater to be picked up at Bordeaux airport, the cheapest quote I have found so far is in excess of £500 for 1 week.

A seven-seater, which will presumably be a van, is going to cost about that much no matter what company you use. I recommend AutoEurope, because their customer service is excellent, but certainly compare prices (AutoEurope will match or beat other quotes).

John - I think the pricing you are receiving is reasonable, particularly if the approx. 500€ includes road tax and the airport pickup surcharge.

iris - it appears that to keep links active one must place each url alone, on its own line and even then in only one grouping (no text splitting the url entries).

Thanks Sarastro; Previously had no problems, but I think my thought process was not working properly when posting those sites. Thanks again. Iris

It is not a van I wish to hire, it is something like a Renault Espace and I only want it for 7 days not to buy it, do you really consider £550 ie., say euros 580 to be reasonable?

I could hire approximately 4 small cars for that but we do not have the drivers.

It does depend on the time of the year as most rental companies base the rental price on demand ie if renting in high season July August expect to pay more than if renting in Jan for example . Try Car hire in France with FASTCarhire and

Hey J44,

Don't wait to get to Europe to rent a car. You will pay the max rate.

A Renault Espace IS a van. And that's a very good price. In 2005 I paid about $800 for a 10-day Espace rental, and that was after pitting one company against another until I got the best deal possible. June is definitely high season. I don't see how you're going to beat that price.
