Capri - Best Pool?

What hotel on Capri has the best pool

1) With direct access to the beach

2) Without direct access to the beach

We were in the area 12 years ago and have drempt about going back imagining a fabulous pool hopefully with a beach option.

thanks

Everyone knows, darling, that Quisisana has the best pool on Capri. Luna is #2.

There is no beach access from either pool. Are there hotels on Capri with a beach?? Maybe Anacapri, or those little hotels in the Marina Piccolo?? I have never seen any. But, of course, I am usually drunk.

ThinGorjus, LOL!

Moonriver I have spent many days on Capri/Anacapri and I have never seen a pool with direct access to the beach.
And, no I wasn't drunk! Well hardly.

I can't think of a Capri hotel that has a pool and direct access to the beach. I love the pool at the Villa Brunella; it has a stunning view of the Faraglioni. If you stay at the Villa Brunella, the beach at the Faraglioni is about a five to ten minute walk down a path in front of the Hotel Punta Tragara.

Moonriver, there are beach clubs with direct acces to the beaches for more info. log onto www.caprionline.com. As mentioned above there are no hotels on Capri with direct beach access. I like the hotel la Mamela: excellent service, large comfortable rooms, and a beautiful pool with lovely grounds. If you want to see photos. of this hotel or any of the other hotels mentioned also see the above mentioned web sites under hotels.
Best of luck
