Can't Miss Restaurants is Paris
My wife and I will be in Paris in early April. One night we want to have a very memorable dinner. Any suggestions? I have budgeted about $400 to $500 for a dinner for an exceptional culinary experince.

L’Amboisie--a 3 star restaurant on Place des Voges in the Marais. Too expensive for my wallet, but it is supposed to be fantastique.
I "settled" for several dinners at places like Le Fin Gourmet on Isle Saint Louis. Small, moderate, very personable, and very good choice. You could eat there 3-4 times for the price of one memory from a place like L'Amboisie or the famous, but perhaps-overrated Tour d'Argent.
