Hi, has any Canadian on this site purchased PREM's tickets on line? According to the sncf Website, reservations from Canada, Japan and Australia are done via Raileurope.

But the prices are a lot more expensive and I don't see all the trains available! Furthermore, the Website proposes ONE train with 2 transfers between Paris and Limoges...

What's the deal?

I've bought PREMs (in Toronto) from their site. I used the print ticket option, not mailed to me.

You have to keep your country as France on the voyages-sncf.com site.

If it is like the US, they tell you to use Raileurope if you insist on retrieving tickets in your home country. That is where they tell you that, in my experience, when you make that selection near the front page (they ask you where you want to get tickets, and if you say Canada, they say you must use Raileurope). This is true, of course. Raileurope's schedule is pretty good for major routes, but they do not list every single train that SNCF does. They don't even know your nationality otherwise at the front end process, so that must be what you are doing, isn't it (saying you want tickets delivered to Canada)? I've bought tickets on there a lot from the US, and they've never asked me my nationality. Even after you buy and are near the end, I don't think they ever ask you your citizenship.

There are plenty of trains that don't have two transfers on the SNCF website (do you mean SNCF or Raileurope?). There are trains with no transfers that take about 3 hours.
