Can someone recommend a good travel agency or website for Italy?
I am interested on going to Italy next year, but would like to research some travel agencies as well as website consolidators on airfares and hotels.
Any thoughts on it?
I would like to go to Rome, Florence and Venice and not interested in tours. I just want the hotel and airfare

The most informative (and gentle) website for all things about Italy travel is www.slowtrav.com

Rather impish of "x" to post the website which was used to give information about the Fodorites' trip to Italy LAST YEAR.

Clearly NOT an "agency" website.

Search "affordableponand" (not just poland) and "joy-of-travel" for some previous posts on consolidators.

And www.venere.com is defintely the website where you should start in researchig hotels - - for window shopping, making inquiries, reservations and/or cancellations - - reliable and trustworthy over a dozen times for me.

Best wishes,

Rex
