Perhaps there is someway new posters can be approved before posting? This is nuts.

If this reflects the quality of the Fodor's company, I won't buy any more guide books from them. On to Frommers!

1) Fodors was taken over by IB -- the same company that runs Flyer Talk

2) they are working on it -- I've seen test posts by the tech team. They inherited a nasty platform.

3) why start this sort of thread? You honestly think they don't already know about it? This just adds to the non-topic threads

I agree that these posts are a PITA, but they are also easy to skip -- unlike so many ads, they are at least in Hangul! And the moderators take them away pretty quickly.

So leave if you must, but honestly, why do that? Why make it even less worth the effort of the new owner to keep this board alive?

In contrast, I'm doing what I can to prove the worth of this forum....

I have been getting a pop up box today asking for my login credentials. I logged out then logged in again, using the website login function but am wondering if this pop up has happened to anyone else? It doesn't seem legit when I am already logged in and am being asked to give my credentials...

There is a thread about this over in the Lounge where many posters are similarly affected. In does seem random, though, as I have had no problem accessing Fodor's with my iPhone, iPad and pc. Others have probs with one or several devices.

Yes -- there is a thread about it on the Help board (and a couple in the Lounge but that isn't accessible to everyone)

Once I entered the info I haven't been asked again - but one Fodorite in the Lounge noted that is is a Safari box -- not a Fodors screen so who knows????

I've gotten the pop-up a few times and simply ignored it with no problem.
