calculating mileage

Type the name of the starting point follwed by ,Portugal in the regular Google search box and hit maps.
When the map comes up you'll also get a dialogue box for "form here" and "to here."
use that to type in the destination and you'll get directions, a mileage calculation and you can use/move the screen to follow the route from beginning to end.
