calculating mileage
 

Does anyone know of an online resource in order to calulate mileage from point A to B within the country of portugal?

Download "Google Earth" - it'll change your life"!!! (Unless you connect to the internet by dial up; in that case, don't bother).

You can use much of Google Earth without downloading anything.

Type <b>from bilbao to lisbon</b> in the Google search blank and hit &quot;Maps.&quot;

Type the name of the starting point follwed by ,Portugal in the regular Google search box and hit maps.

When the map comes up you'll also get a dialogue box for &quot;form here&quot; and &quot;to here.&quot;

use that to type in the destination and you'll get directions, a mileage calculation and you can use/move the screen to follow the route from beginning to end.
