Buying Theater Tickets in Seville Online

I'm going to Seville at the end of March and would like to book ahead for tickets to a performance at the Teatro Maestranza. I've used their web site www.teatromaestranza.com to view schedules, get prices and ideas of seating charts, but can't find an area on the web site where you can book tickets.

Has anyone booked tickets at this Teatro online--if so, how? The only thing I see on there is they do give an email address in the section for Taquilla ([email protected]), so am wondering if you can buy tickets that way, or what.

hoping maybe to catch some new eyes on this one -- thought maybe someone had tried to do this, or the Spain experts might know

Hi Christina,

I have been checking the usual suspects in Spain (banks and "cajas de ahorros&quot, and I cannot find anyone selling tickets for La Maestranza. La Caixa doesn't sell, nor does Caja San Fernando or BBVA ( http://www.ticktackticket.com/ ).

Unless Olga reads this post, I would write to the theatre and hope for the best.

And in case you ever go to Bilbao, here you have the address for the online ticket booking :

We went last month and reserved over phone, leaving our name and collected them from the box office. Try the email but I dont think they have on line booking.

okay, thanks to all -- I was going to just email them to ask how to do it, but I was surprised they didn't have an online booking function on their web site -- I thought maybe I was overlooking it.
