Burgundy, France Hotel Advice

I'm looking for a nice, quaint hotel to stay in the Burgundy region for three nights (on my way between Paris and the Marseille area). Probably in the $150-$250 range.

Any suggestions?

The Château d'Igé is our standard stopover on the way south. It's a very pleasant small chateau that is quite convenient to the autoroute.

Dear Astein:

I'll be in Burgundy (staying in Chagny) in about 2 wks. I will be staying at the Chateau de Bellecroix. Rather atmospheric, in the heart of the vineyards and my room is costing 110 Euros a night..

Hope this helps some..

Regards..

A very nice apartment for two in the historic center of Dijon:

Dijon is a fascinating and historic town, with easy access to nearby attractions like Beaune.

Have a great trip!

Thanks for all the suggestions... unfortunately, due to my late planning, I'm having difficultly finding a room at any of the suggested locations.

Any other ideas would be appreciated (specifically looking for 13-16 October).

Thx!

Any opinions on:

ERMITAGE DE CORTON
Auberge du Paradis
Château de Fleurville
Château de Vault-de-Lugny

All seem well reviewed... thx!

My wife and I just spent two nights at Le Monestier in the tiny village of St-Denis-de-Vaux, just west of Chalon-sur-Saone. The village is surrounded by vineyards of the Cote Chalonaise. It was fantastic - Swiss hosts were very welcoming, spoke English, French, German. We paid EUR95 per night. www.lemonestier.com

Thanks for all of the help... we decided to go with the Le Monestier. Figured, 3 nights at a B&B, 3 nights at a small hotel in Provence, 3 nights at a big hotel in Paris (Westin).

Thanks again!
