Budget triple/quad room in paris
I am looking for a triple/quad room in paris for about 100 euro a night. I was hoping for the 7e or the 17e. Is the hoping for too much? Just looking for clean and safe with ensuite bathroom.
Thanks.
Thanks.

They don't really have many B&Bs in Paris, that's really a British thing (or more rural thing). There are a few, but finding a B&B for that many people is really going to be a challenge more than in a hotel, I imagine, as Parisian apts are very small. The few B&Bs I've seen for that many people (which would usually be two rooms) would cost more than a cheap hotel. Like if you look on www.parisbandb.com, you can't find room descriptions or prices very well, but some photos look very nice. However, they say rooms start at $90 each. The one place in the 17th says that have two rooms, a double and triple, so even if $90 each, that's $180.
I think that is going to be a real challenge because it is so cheap for Paris, and the 7th is not a cheap quartier (it's not the most expensive for tourist rooms, but still, it's not that cheap). For example, here is one of the cheapest hotels in the 7th (Hotel de France Invalides) that is not real dumpy, and it quotes 113 euro for a triple and 158 euro for a quad. That's only a 2* hotel. I don't know the 17th that well, but it is huge and you probably can get something that cheap somewhere in it, but it's not going to be near the Arc, I bet.
YOu may need to consider other areas. Here is a decent 2* I know about in the bottom of the 14th near Parc Montsouris, and it fits your criteria -- two communicating rooms for four people for only 98 euro

Are some of the people children? Novotel allows two children under 16 for free (at least generally speaking), and sometimes Mercure does (or sometimes only one, and sometimes none). Check http://www.accorhotels.com
Holiday Inn might possibly allow children for free also.

Here it is! I topped it for you, but just incase it sinks the link is http://tinyurl.com/yngv58
Scroll to the end, "Beatchick" has offered to e-mail her list of 145 hotels to anyone who needs it. The pricing looks to be from 2005, but it will give you the names of the hotels who have that type of room and a general idea of who is pricey and who is less expensive. Good luck!

Hi
When are you going. Cheaper in low season so €100 goes further. Also you may want to consider an apartment. Eg. http://www.myhouseinparis.com/paris2.php
Re the suggestion for the Royal Phare Hotel. Stayed there in 2005 (double). No complaints. Metro and supermarket nearby, Eiffel Tower a short stroll away. Next time I'd be inclined to stay in the Latin Quarter though (see apartment link above). Closer to attractions although the metro is excellent.

Take a look at this website : www.nyceparis.com They suggest hotel de la Jatte which seems very nice and has special offers or Prince Albert Monceau, which has fair rates.
