Hello! I will be travelling alone in September. Any recommendations for budget friendly (less than 100 Euros), centrally located hotels in Rome, Siena and Florence? Thanks!

I had luck at the Hotel Van Gogh/Hotel Monet in Rome. A very small B&B under 100 dollars/75 euro. Near the Spanish Steps and Via Condotti. I used Hotels in Italy website. Very helpful in choosing the neighborhood and price range. Loved the Hotel Antica Torre in Florence - right on the Piazza della Signoria, but may be a bit pricy. Hope this helps.

Search eurocheapo, here on thi forum - - not only will you find info on www.eurocheapo.com (good for Rome and Florence), but its name will appear on other threads where good budget choices are discussed.
