The web site is good in that it is short and picks less-known places, but meals there are about 40 pounds for two, which like Kavey and Oxgirl I think not budget dining. That I find chiefly upstairs in pubs, and I can list to anybody who e mails me pubs I like to eat in. The list includes notes of nearby tourist attractions.
Soho is the most expensive place in London, except for some restaurants in Shepherds Market, north of green Park. Soho varies, but is fairly expensive. To find cheap (meaning budget) meals I go to Earls Court, to South Kensington, or to Queens Square and Lambs Conduit Street east of Russell Square. Or I eat ethnic, Chinese just south of Shaftesbury Avenue in Chinatown, and India in Drummond Street (west of Euston main line station) or East street (north of Aldgate East tube).
