Budapest round 4

How best to get to Fishermans Bastion from our hotel the Marriott Danube. We do not climb and walking long distances is not an option. There does not seem to be a tram or metro nearby. Also we are not likely to do the hop on hop off bus so is cabbing it the only option left and if so will there be cabs waiting for our return?

The bus No 16 stops at Deak Square or on Szechenyi Square next to Chain Bridge. Both some 10 min walking from Marriott On the Casrle Hill the bus stops in front of Matthias Church.

Thanks, it it obvious when to get off? Also on the return do we get the bus on the opposite side of where we got off or do we just board at the same point as the bus will eventually return to our starting point?

It's obvious, on the corner of the church and it's the stop where nearly everybody gets off. It's the 4th stop after crossing the bridge.
For the return bus you have to go to the opposite side of the square. Bus stops are clearly marked. The No 16 bus is a small bus. All the buses are blue, easy to find.

There is a great, little cafe at the top. We go to relax and have a drink but about 90% of the people go up and through to the otherwise for the views up, down, and across the river. It is described here ---> http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attractio...l_Hungary.html
