Bruge hotels and restaurants-help please!

My husband and I will be staying in Bruge for 3 nights this September. Can anyone make a hotel recommendation? We'd prefer a 4 star hotel within walking distance of the main attractions, though a quiet street would be nice. Free Wi-Fi, breakfast included would be great and perhaps a bar/lounge for a night cap. Would love something charming, with character, not some place generic.
Also, if anyone can recommend some places to eat that do not necessarily cater to tourists. Thank you!

I would very highly recommend the Cote Canal B&B in Brugge. We stayed there for three nights two years ago. The owner is a delightful woman who takes great interest in her guests and goes out of her way to make sure they have a great stay. She offers very helpful restaurant recommendations and will also help you plan your day.It has been rated as the best accomodation in Brugge and one of the best in Europe. It sits directly on a canal very near Brugges' main square. The rooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms very spacious. Have a great trip.

We stayed here last fall: www.depeellaert.com/
Liked it very much. Lovely breakfast room, good location. Our room was away from the street with the view over rooftops. It was quite spacious and had a sofa and desk, lots of windows and light. There is a bar as well. Helpful staff. I would stay again if returning to Bruges.

I second the hotel depeellaert. Was there for 4 days last May . Walk to Brugge Center, great breakfast, extra large bathroom and spotless.

We stayed at a B&B, Number 11, It was great, quiet, short walk to centre. Would stay there again.
