Boulevard St Michel

Considering an apartment in this area south of Luxembourg Gardens. Comments on the area generally, good restaurants and cafes?

It's a nice area with alot of restaurants and cafes. The blvd. itself is very busy and has alot of people walking, eating late into the night.

I've only been to Paris once, in the summer a couple years ago. Our hotel was on this street. It was a fantastic neighborhood, with tons to do. Write down your address, it's easy to get lost in the Latin Quarter! And don't get run down by traffic, no kidding. Luxembourg Gardens was one of my favorite spots in Paris (if you're there with reasonably good weather have a picnic).

We went to a Cyber cafe almost every day on the Blvd St Michel. It is very busy, lots of traffic and people. There are some nice sights such as the Musee de Cluny and the Roman Baths.
I don't think we have ever gone to any restaurants in that area.
