Boston GTG is today!

I couldn't go, but I am sure they are having a fabulous time. Weather is just beautiful here in the Boston area - a perfect autumn day. I hope someone (Mimi, Kathy?) fills us in on all the details of the GTG.

Hi Marianna, I was there and lived to tell the tale. Lots of people came from great distances, sort of amazing actually: Hawaii, California, Canada, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan. A nice brunch buffet at the hotel at MIT, followed by dinner at a Thai restaurant in Cambridge, to which I will have to return.

Very nice to talk to people in person after reading their thoughts in the virtual world. And for me a totally unexpected bonus: it turns out that two of the people there went to school with me thirty years ago. Who knew?

They came from far and wide and you met some old friends! That's great!

Did anyone take pictures?

Many pictures were taken. I'm sure they will be posted when Bob's hangover subsides.

It was great seeing Nikki after 29 years, an unexpected bonus. The Europe board will be happy to know that she seemed resistant to the Asia boarders continent-switching suggestions. A Europe boarder forever, apparently.

Complete surprise. Didn't recognize each other. Came out in conversation.
