It would be petty to point out that this gathering of "world travellers" is taking place in "My Fair City". I hope some Asia Board types show up. One can only speak of chateaux and wine for so long.

I spend 75% of my travel time in Asia, 75% in Europe, and the other 60% here and there. Not sure what type that makes me.

Good choice of dates, between the AFC championship and SB. If the snow isn't flying, I'd hope to attend.

Due to Bob's "persuasion", my wife Beth has agreed to attend. We look forward to meeting all, but especially those from this board. I can only take so much talk about how high the Euro has gotten.

Will be there in spirit also. In reality my husband Rob & I will be on the beach in Koh Lanta, after two weeks in Bangkok & Chiang Mai. So, maybe our spirit will not be there after all! Would love to make the next GTG to share experiences. This is our first trip to Thailand. We're leaving tomorrow & can't wait!

Craig-looking forward to meeting you guys as well. Maybe we can section off an Asia seating. Bob will probably be going back and forth with the Europe/ Asia dichotomy. Sort of like Istanbul.

Andy, it would be great to sit with an all Asiaboard group but I could certainly go along with an Istanbul-like bunch as well.

Good news. The Cambridge politburo has granted Bob a one day visa for 1/29/05. Sort of like Nixon's 1972 trip to China.
