ciganechanta - Maybe the best thing to do is to pick a casual, fairly priced place very close to a stop along the "T". thus alowing people to connect from many directions...and perhaps avoid weather issues. Any ideas???

Where are you Pat?
Seadog , she's in charge. I can't organize this, it's up to anyone else.

I'll be back in Framingham for about 10 days in March. If anyone is up for meeting at the Pacific Buffet on Route 9 in Framingham, I'm sure we could arrange to get at least a portion of one of the dining rooms so that we can sit together. The Chinese buffet is excellent, there is plenty of sushi, shrimp and a grill for steaks, etc. Cost is about $18 for the buffet.

And, it's only a couple of miles from the commuter rail in Framingham in case Mimi and others can ride in that way. I'd be happy to pick people up and drop them off at the depot.

The Pacific Buffet is on Route 9 and easily accessible to Route 30, the Mass. Pike at exits 12 and 13, and 12 miles on either side of Routes 495 and 128.

Hi,
I live west of Boston and would love to come. January is better for me. The holiday rush starts early. Keep us posted as to day, time, and place.

I'll only attend if it's in Boston or Cambridge and don't like buffet food nor chineese but would order something, if it's everyone's choice.

I'm hoping this will happen. We're interested but already have several January engagements. I don't live in Boston area so can't do much in the planning stage.

Sounds good to me.

Let's stick with this -- the problems before, stemmed from trying to please all of the people all of the time.

ttt - I will keep topping this in hopes of catching everyone, with my suggested "plan" - this is a busy time of year.

either is ok by subway. Park St is the change over stop. you go to Kendall for the Cambridge one, and to Boston, the Arlington Stop and then there's the one in Prudential center at Copley.
Take your pick

From the organizer of the SF GTG:
Have a great time! We were all so glad we met. And don't forget to take some digital photos and post them on a website like worldisround so we can see you all having fun.

Awww, someone in the group will have a digital camera, no? And I bet that person will know how to get them onto a computer. The rest is as easy as making toast.

I bought a super-tiny digital camera this summer, and I'm never without it. I'll take pix and distribute them -- if I can come; my kids get sick a lot.
