Bordeaux france in Sept.suggestions on things to see!
I will be driving in from Autoire want to see Boradeaux region on our way up to
LA Rochelle we do not want to go into the city itself since we perfer small towns with the cobblestone streets.Any suggestions??

The towns around Bordeaux are a bore, with the exception of Arcachon and Cap Ferret, which are on the ocean and quite picturesque. The Dune du Pyla is well worth a visit (but all three of those places can easily be visited in one day).
For small towns with cobblestone streets you'd need to go elsewhere...like the Dordogne (and even there we don't have many cobblestone streets any more).
