Booking Borghese Gallery??

So it's officially countdown for us...27 days till Italy!
We already have the Scavi tour booked and confirmed, and I'd also like to book the Borghese gallery too.
But I go on the site, and there's no option for May...only April? Would it be safe to wait a few weeks? We leave the first week of May..so I hope we can be able to book it.
Anyone know?

TIA

Samantha

Samantha,

I booked my reservation three weeks before my trip ( I leave 4/12) and had a reply for the date and time I wanted in 24 hours. You should be fine.

Last year we went on June 2nd, and the wait to be able to make reservations for June almost killed me! Don't despair..the dates will come up!

And I went on a Sunday last summer without reservations, and also got in on the next entry, so it's not really that big a deal.

I phoned the number given on the website got my res in about two minutes. You'll first reach a recording that says (in Italian!) "press 1 for Italian, 2 for English." This was a year ago, so there may be changes -- listen carefully.

I would try in advance because some times/days do sell out. If you know now when it will best fit your schedule, why take a chance on not getting your first choice time?
