Still recovering and reflecting on our in-depth Tuscany sojourn. Trip report to follow when my head is clear. Meanwhile:
1. Tuscany in October is ideal
2. 3 nites per location makes good sense.
3. South Tuscany is still my fav region
4. The designer outlet mall is a joke
5. Staying at rural small hotels with good half board plans is our preferred style

Bob, Glad you had a great time! We made it home in one piece also and are glad we got to meet you at dinner at Grappolo Blue! Thanks to your tips, we were able to return our car in Rome ALMOST in 1 piece!
