We are looking at travelling to Iceland in June but have heard that the black flies at Lake Myvatn are really bad in mid June. Does anyone have any experience with this? We're not sure if we should shorten our time at Lake Myvatn or perhaps travel at another time. Or is it really as bad as we've heard? Any advice? Thanks in advance.
