Bilbao, World City Prize Winner
http://www.eitb.com/news/life/detail...-prize-winner/
Bilbao and its transformation in the past few years have been awarded the Nobel prize for cities, "the prize jury cited the City Hall's "emphasis on environmental clean up, use of culture... and design, improvements to infrastructure and restoration of historic areas" which have successfully rejuvenated the city.
For those that still think there´s not much to see on this unexplored city...

As Mikel would say ... there is more than the Guggenheim ... Right now, there is a "taste" of Balenciaga at the Bellas Artes. It is located across the museum, and pretty good too.

I was in Bilbao last May and the parts that aren't under construction are very impressive. There are a lot of parts that ARE under construction so it was very, very hard to navigate in a car. I'm sure when it's finished it will be a dream. The public transportation was brilliant!
