Female traveling alone - no luggage- on a Sunday. Arriving at airport in Bilbao at 3:00/1500. Need reliable travel info to get from airport to Gugenheim Museum and back for flight leaving at 9:00/2100 back to Barcelona. Making a day trip from Barcelona via Spanair. Travel companions do not like museums. No museums- Spain--go figure.

You can take a taxi and be at the Guggenheim in less than 20 minutes, depending on the traffic.

Taxis will be on a queue right outside the small and convenient airport of Bilbao, 12kms away from downtown. 15-20īride, expect 20 euros. Pity you donīt stay longer.

if the bus is there waiting .(1 or 2 euros). it stops in front of the guggenheim.
then taxi back.

Just the Airporter .. it goes right past the G. before its final stops. Very convenient both ways. Frequent also. The bus should say "Centro Ciudad or Bilbao" on it.

It's every 30 minutes and costs 1.30 according to this webpage
