Biking the tulip fields

We are staying in Delft for four nights and in Amsterdam for four nights. I need advice on the best way to bike the tulip fields AND see Keukenhof gardens. My quick search shows me how to purchase tickets to the park, and it looks like we can rent bikes in Noordwijkerhout, which is 4 km away from Keukenhof. So do people travel to Noordwijkerhout and rent a bike there and then ride to Keukenhof? What is the best way to do this? Our preference is to do this during our stay in Delft, since that falls on weekdays. Is that doable without a car? And now that I’ve typed all of that, I’m wondering if a guided bike tour is the simplest way to go? Anyone have experience to share? Thanks in advance for your help!

I think it's easier to go first to Keukenhof, then rent from https://www.rentabikevandam-keukenhof.com/en/.

They have cycle routes too that are geared to the tulip fields

Be aware though that those tulips are grown only for the bulbs. The heads are cut as soon as they're at prime bloom, and usually tulips will stay on the fields for a week or 2, sometimes less. So, if tulips are in bloom on april 15th, by may 1st they will definitely be gone.
