Best Western In Paris
I have a voucher for Belloy St Germain in Latin Quarter. They're booked and are trying to put me and my 16 yr old daughter at the Villa Van Gogh in Pigalle. I've said no to that, but has anyone had experience with other Best Western Properties in Paris...Left Bank preferred! Thanks!

The Aramis St. Germain is quite nice, and it's on the border of St. Germain-des-Pres and Montparnasse. The rooms are decent-sized with relatively large bathrooms, very comfortable, airconditioned and modern. Great staff, nice lobby lounge.
It's right on Rue de Rennes, a very commercial street, but across the street from the St. Placide metro station. It's a nice stroll up to Blvd. St. Germain or a one-stop-away metro ride. And it's one of the best bargains on the Left Bank.
I also stayed at the BW Derby Eiffel, also very nice but the location, next to the Ecole Militaire metro station, is a bit too sedate for me.
Check out the reviews of the Aramis on tripadvisor.

When I looked it up it turns out it was 15 years ago but we stayed in a Best Western in Turcadero area. It was convenient and nice. My son was 10 at the time and we managed to get around to the sights very well.
I have had good luck with Best Westerns in many European countries. They tend to be small boutique type places. As I remember the one in Paris was a townhouse in a residencial neighborhood with small grocery stores and even a laundry near by. Probably not there any more!
I have just booked one in Aveiro Portugal so I hope my luck holds!
Have fun in Paris!

In 2002,We stayed at Hotel Fremiet near the Eiffel tower, and loved it.
It is in the Passy neighborhood and was near a train stop.
The breakfast of great breads and coffee was wonderful.
Also found great restaurant, cafe Trocadero nearby.we ate there several nights.
