Best websites for package vacations?

Anyone have an recommendations for websites/companies offering package deal type vacations to Europe? Per my earlier post, I am trying to do a budget friendly last minute trip. Would like to go sometime in the last two weeks of June and am very flexible on destination if the price is right. I usually don't like package vacations but I'm willing to give it a shot this time around since there is probably no other way I'm going with these sky-high airfares!

You're not likely to find many "package tour" folks at Fodor's. Try a travel agency. They all have a wall of brochures.

If you just want airfare and hotel, try www.go-today.com or www.gate1travel.com. I've also used Expedia in the past for a trip to Spain. Airfare + hotel was only $25 more than I could find for airfare alone.

Our first trip to Paris was with a Trafalgar package that was significantly less than booking everything included on our own. And, I had terrific luck with Priceline packages to London twice several years ago, but these days packages seem to be more for convenience of booking that a good deal. And, all were booked way ahead.

It's probably not reasonable to expect to find a "price is right" package for the last two weeks in June now. Those "sky high airfares" affect the package prices as well.

But, you just never know what you'll find if you shop diligently.

Yes, I'm just looking for airfare and hotel, definitely no tours here! Thanks, kybourbon, I will check those out!
